In San Francisco in 1900, a white woman is murdered in Chinatown, and the suspect is a Chinese man. The murder causes social upheaval and the public demands that Chinatown be outlawed. The case involves Chinese medicine man QIN FU (LIU Haoran) and Chinese man Ah Gui (WANG Baoqiang), who race against time in a battle of wits and courage to find the killer.
