The film, dedicated to a nurse and her family, pays tribute to unsung heroes who carry the burden of their loved ones. dreams on my shoulders.. It’s hard to explain what I felt while watching the film, but with respect to the cast and crew of the film, I want to thank those who wrote this masterpiece. For me, Filipinos open their eyes to the fact that working abroad, away from family, is not easy, especially if the whole family depends on you. As an OFW, I can say that some of the walls where Vice is located in Taiwan are real. Although I don’t experience it myself, some of my colleagues work day and night to feed their families, and it pisses me off every time. I hope that Filipinos will understand that OFWs are not your ATMs. Their money is not limited, and the future is not promised either. Visas can expire at any time, and if so, why are they needed?
